Anne Curtis “never knew” that she “could love someone so much” until her firstborn, Dahlia Amelie, finally came into her and husband Erwan Heussaff’s lives on March 2.

“It’s an unexplainable kind of love—the kind I have never felt before. It’s so overwhelming and fills your heart to the brim with pure happiness,” she wrote in a recent Instagram post announcing her daughter’s birth.

With the message was a photo of the baby grasping her mother’s thumb with her tiny fingers. “I will always be here to love, protect, guide and hold her little hand every step of the way … even when that little hand isn’t so little anymore,” she wrote.

Erwan, in his own Instagram post showing Dahlia’s feet, said he has never been more in love with his wife and his “beautiful little daughter.”

“I never knew that my heart could grow so quickly in just one day. I also had no idea I could fall even more in love with my wife,” he said. “Anne was so impressive throughout her pregnancy and in labor.”
