Pia Wurtzbach as a businesswoman
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach said that, this year, she would get involved in different business ventures.
For one, she would work on a “proper launch” for Bestea, the milk tea store she has put up with her girl friends—actress Pauleen Luna and chef Nina Almoro in Alabang.
“That’s what we will be working on in the next few months. We’re also thinking of opening a few more branches in Metro Manila before we start franchising them out,” she told Inquirer Entertainment.
The beauty queen-turned-actress also said she would resume working with the US-based DeviantArt, an online community for artists and art enthusiasts.
Collaborations
“I have collaborations with them. Hopefully, that will grow bigger,” Pia declared.

I’m a risk-taker because I don’t have a lot of experience in putting up a business before—I didn’t really learn about this in school—but I still choose to do it, especially since I’m now getting good advice from people around me,” she explained.
“I’m a conservative businesswoman in a way because I try not to invest too much to the point that if things go bad, I’d lose a lot. I’m always trying to find the right balance,” the 30-year-old beauty queen pointed out. —Marinel Cruz
