CLOY star Hyun Bin secretly donates 200M won to fight COVID-19 — report
MANILA, Philippines — Actor Hyun Bin, who starred in the hit South Korean romantic drama “Crash Landing On You,” reportedly donated 200 million won (P8.5 million) to aid in the battle against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak.
He donated the money to a non-profit organization, Community Chest of Korea, as reported in an article published by Koreaboo.

No one knew about the donation as he did not even tell his agency about it. Hyun Bin also reportedly asked the organization to keep it a secret.
Last Feb. 21, the South Korean actor released a letter through his agency’s Instagram account, wishing for the “quick recovery” of those affected by the COVID-19.

Reports claimed he made his secret donation after releasing the letter.

His CLOY co-star Son Ye-jin was earlier reported to have donated 100 million won (about P4.1 million) to her hometown Daegu, the epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak in South Korea.
