K-pop singer Chungha on self-quarantine due to staff testing positive for COVID-19

K-pop singer Chungha is under quarantine after two of her staff were recently infected with COVID-19.
The singer and her team came from Italy on Feb. 24 when one showed signs of fever, according to a statement from her talent agency MNH Entertainment via Soompi yesterday, March 1.
The group was tested and it was found that two of them were positive for the virus. Chungha herself tested negative but needs to go on self-quarantine following a request of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC).
Chungha’s commitments have been canceled for the meantime.
As South Korea battles the virus, K-pop concerts have been dropped in the country and around the world. BTS canceled four-day concerts in Seoul scheduled for April, its label Big Hit Entertainment announced on Thursday, Feb. 27.
