‘Crash Landing On You’ star Hyun Bin: Look after your health amid COVID-19 threat

MANILA, Philippines — Amid the global threat of the COVID-19 coronavirus disease, “Crash Landing On You” star Hyun Bin is urging everyone to take care of their health.

“You might be spending day after day [being] anxious and worrying over the Coronavirus disease 2019 which is occurring all over the world and throughout Asia including China and Japan as well as Korea,” the Korean star via an Instagram post shared by his Vast Entertainment agency.

“I’d like to ask [to look] after your health at least by writing to express my worry over whether the place you are at is safe,” he added.

As of Saturday, it was reported that 2,345 people have died from the deadly coronavirus in China alone. The COVID-19 has also infected more than 77,000 people globally.

“Just as we’ve always overcome difficulties by cheering each other on despite difficult times, I hope the Coronavirus disease 2019 passes by as soon as possible,” Hyun expressed his hope.

Hyun also showed his appreciation to the people “working tirelessly day and night to eradicate the virus” adding that he will cheer them on until the end.

“Furthermore, I sincerely wish the quick recovery of those suffering from its infection,” he added.

“Again, I hope all those reading this are able to maintain their safety and health from the virus and I will pray this incident safely passes by.”

“Crash Landing On You,” starring Hyun opposite Son Ye-jin, recently achieved the highest number of viewership on in the history of South Korean TV channel TVN.

The drama series narrates the love story of a South Korean heiress and a North Korean military captain, is also available for streaming on Netflix.
