Young actor Donny Pangilinan, who had admitted that the breakup of his onscreen partnership with Kisses Delavin (known as DonKiss) came as a huge surprise even to him, said he was “slowly adjusting to everything.”

“When it comes to working with other people, I’m very open. I have an amazing group of people, close friends and family, who now serve as my motivation,” said the cast member of Theodore Boborol Jr.’s romantic-comedy flick “James & Pat & Dave.”

He added that he was “very thankful for all the work opportunities, as well as the trust given to me by management and the people who see something in me.”

“I’m in a good place right now, long after the split of DonKiss,” Donny added.

“Right now, my heart is filled with happiness. I’m grateful to have been given this role in the movie. I didn’t expect this to happen so soon,” he said. —Marinel Cruz
