Shaina Magdayao, Barbie Imperial and Isabelle de Leon have joined the cast of the action-drama series “Ang Probinsyano.”
Dreamscape, the producer of the show, revealed the actresses’ involvement in the teleserye on its Instagram page yesterday, Feb. 11.

The three women have been introduced as members of the police force–Magdayao plays police major Roxanne Opeña, Imperial portrays Camille Villaluna and De Leon is Mariel Lazcano.

Their characters are joining the ranks of Task Force Agila, which is led by Coco Martin’s character, Cardo Dalisay, as per De Leon’s Instagram post on the same day.

Meanwhile, Imperial also shared her new role by uploading a photo of her in a police uniform on her own page.
“Police ka ghorl (Are you a police [officer], [girl])??” she joked.

“Ang Probinsyano” is based on a 1997 film of the same title starring the late action star and “King of Philippine Movies” Fernando Poe Jr. The series premiered in September 2015 and currently airs Monday to Friday on ABS-CBN after “TV Patrol.” /ra
