Celebrity couple Iya Villania and Drew Arellano marked their sixth wedding anniversary yesterday, Jan. 31, at the same time announcing that they are expecting baby No. 3.
As early as last Christmas, Villania had surprised Arellano with the extra-special gift revealing her pregnancy, as seen on their YouTube channel uploaded yesterday. The Arellano family was then visiting with Villania’s relative in Australia for the Christmas holidays. Their children Primo and Alonzo Leon were opening gifts when Drew got his present from Villania.
Drew was shocked to read the message on a red envelope stating: “Love, ready for baby #3?”
The envelope contained an ultrasound photo dated Dec. 14.
“Are you kidding me?” Drew said.
Villania laughed, as she also seemed to be taken aback by Drew’s reaction.
“Wait, so you didn’t know? Are you sure?” she said.
Villania’s relatives were excited for the couple as they cheered and laughed at Drew’s astonished face. Villania’s mother, meanwhile, congratulated the two. She then expressed her desire for a granddaughter next.
Villania said they would wait until her delivery to find out their baby’s gender.
On their wedding anniversary, the Filipino-Australian actress proclaimed her love for Drew as she posted on Instagram a photo of them together on their wedding day, their bodies forming silhouettes against the golden sunset.
“6yrs and still magical… most of the time,” Villania joked on her Instagram post yesterday.
Drew, meanwhile, posted yesterday his anniversary greetings on Instagram accompanied by a photo of them in an embrace, with the Sydney Opera House behind them. He recounted his first encounter with Villania when they met in the 1990s TV series “Click.”
He mused, “Who would’ve thought I’d still be saying [I love you] everyday for [17 years] after?” /ra
