Kendra, Gavin and Scarlett Kramer will be donating their pre-loved clothes to help those affected by the Taal Volcano eruption last Jan. 12.
Their mother, actress Chesca Garcia-Kramer, could not help but express her pride over her children’s generous act, posting it on her Instagram page on Jan. 18. She accompanied her post with a photo of the three children sitting on the floor amid piles of their pre-loved clothes.
“Proud of my babies who volunteered to set aside all their pre-loved clothes to donate to those affected by the calamity that happened last week,” she said.
Garcia-Kramer explained that her three kids “wanted to be able to contribute through their own efforts, and own this moment as responsible and compassionate citizens.”
Along with the Kramer kids, other celebrities have also offered their resources to help the Taal evacuees. Among them were Angel Locsin, Matteo Guidicelli, Jennie Garcia and Judy Ann Santos.
Despite the eruption happening a week ago, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology has cautioned evacuees on Jan. 19 against returning to Taal Volcano Island or places within 14 kilometers of the crater. They explained that despite the volcano showing weakening activity recently, a sudden eruption remained possible. /ra
