Actress and TV host Anne Curtis’ pregnancy has brought her to a higher plane, as she expressed that she has renewed her relationship with God. She is encouraging others to do so as well, amid the weakening of their faith due to the “noise and clutter” of the world.

For the soon-to-be mother, the “little blessing” inside of her womb is what reminded her of God’s love, she said on her Instagram account yesterday, Jan. 19.

“Finally went back to church today,” she said. “Although this is probably so out of the blue for some of you out there but I felt moved to share, in hopes that it could encourage others.”

“Today, the word really spoke to me,” she added.

The actress noted that she is not a perfect Christian, and is in fact “far from it,” explaining that people sometimes do things without realizing that these actually bring them farther away from God.

“Things we are not proud of or we regret. And you feel like you’re not worthy of going to church or unworthy of His love… or your world gets too busy, there’s so much noise and clutter, you no longer hear Him because you no longer have time to spend time with Him or read His Word,” she said.

Curtis then went on to say that now, she is “quite far” from when she was baptized; back when she had an intimate relationship with God “that even a beam of sunshine would be Him talking to me.”

“And I miss that so much,” she stressed. “My little blessing inside of me has given me time to sit still.. and be reminded of His love.”

The actress added that she prayed for “a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit,” aiming to have a brand new start in her spiritual journey.

Curtis is expected to give birth to her first child with husband Erwan Heussaff in March. The two tied the knot in 2017 in Queensland, New Zealand. JB
