MANILA, Philippines — Korean actor Park Seo-joon and member of global boy group BTS’ V expressed concern over the recent Taal Volcano eruption which has displaced thousands of families from their homes.
Park shared Tuesday over his Instagram account a photo that read “Pray for Taal.”
V, on the other hand, responded to a fan who asked for prayers about Taal’s eruption in the online community app WeVerse.
“Pray for Taal, Pray for the Philippines,” the fan’s post read.
“My heart really aches these days. I hope no one gets hurt and that nature doesn’t hurt any more people. Please. Really,” V, whose real name is Kim Tae-hyung, replied.
Taal Volcano had a phreatic eruption or a steam-driven episode in crater last Sunday.
Alert level 4 remains hoisted over Taal Volcano, which means that a hazardous explosive eruption is possible within hours or days.
