Coco Martin grateful to Black Nazarene for blessings more than he had prayed for
MANILA, Philippines — Actor Coco Martin gave thanks to the Black Nazarene for providing him with more blessings than what he had prayed for.
“Walang hanggang pasasalamat po sa Poong Jesus Nazareno sa lubos na biyaya, pagmamahal at pag gabay sa akin at sa aking buong pamilya,” Martin wrote Thursday in an Instagram post.
(A never-ending thanks to the Black Nazarene for the blessings, love and for guiding me and my family.)
“Higit pa sa aking hiniling noon ang binigay niyo sa akin ngayon. Maraming Maraming Salamat po Ama Jesus Nazareno,” he added.
(What you have given me is more than what I prayed for. Thank you, our Father, the Black Nazarene.)
Martin had previously shared that his devotion to the Black Nazarene stemmed from his grandmother who always brought him to the Quiapo Church.
The actor said that his showbiz career was among the things he had prayed for to the Black Nazarene.
