Young donned a nude-toned dress, with an intricate pattern of colorful flowers sewn onto it, and large puffy sleeves. Meanwhile, Dee stunned in a strapless white gown designed by Albert Andrada.
During the event, Dee’s BWAP video for autism awareness landed in the top 20 of the program. Dee also secured a Top 40 spot in the competition when she won her Head-to-Head challenge. In the said challenge, the candidates were divided into groups of five or six members and had to answer questions from the reigning Miss World, Vanessa Ponce.
Young reiterated her support for Dee in her Instagram Stories, as she reminded her fans and followers to vote for Dee before the Miss World coronation night.

Should Dee win the prestigious crown, she would be the second Filipina to achieve the feat. Young was crowned Miss World in 2013 when the pageant was held in Bali, Indonesia.
Dee was crowned Miss World Philippines 2019 earlier this September at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. She is the daughter of Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez. /ra
