To celebrate Derek Ramsay’s birthday, actress Andrea Torres threw a surprise party for him last night. Ramsay turns 43 today, Dec. 7.
Torres gathered Ramsay’s friends at a restaurant for festivities, which included performances for the actor on a stage.
Ramsay and Torres took the stage too to perform a duet: Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” as seen in actor John Estrada’s Instagram post.
Estrada lauded Torres’ efforts: “Andrea threw a surprise party for her boyfriend and it was successful… great job Ada @andreaetorres.”
Ramsay also had a multi-layered birthday cake with a golf theme, given his love for the sport.
Torres also dedicated a heartfelt message to him on Instagram about how much he meant to her.
“From the very start we always [said] this — it’s as if the Universe is rooting for us. Everything is falling into place so easily and now, I can’t even remember how life was like without you,” she said.
“There is no doubt in my heart that you are my answered prayer. My love, I will never run out of ways to show you how much I appreciate you. I wake up everyday with one constant goal — to make you happy,” she further said.
Ramsay and Torres confirmed their relationship last September. The couple starred together in the TV drama “The Better Woman,” which ran from July to September this year. /ra
