After 11 years in college, it seems that television host and actor Juancho Triviño will finally be marching to the sound of graduation tunes soon.

Triviño defended his thesis successfully along with his groupmates, and even got an impressive 96% grade, as stated on his Instagram on Friday, Nov. 29.

“So I just finished my final defense today, I am happy to report that our group got 96%,” he said. “Iba talaga pag magagaling ung groupmates mo (it really is something when your groupmates are exceptional).”

“Joke lang, tumulong naman ako. So, with this done all thats left is one subject and then Ma-Martsya na ko, after 11 years in college (6years off bcos i worked),” he added.

(I’m joking, I helped of course. So, with this done, all that’s left is one subject and then I’ll finally march after 11 years in college. Six years off because I worked.)

The actor is a business management student at De La Salle University in Manila.

Triviño, whose engagement to co-host Joyce Pring went public recently, jokingly apologized to his parents because he will be married first even before the graduation.

“YUN NA NGA, MAUUNA UNG KASAL KESA SA GRADUATION (So as it turns out, the wedding will happen before the graduation). Sorry Mom and Dad. Hehe. Nevertheless To God be the Glory,” he said.

Triviño proposed to Pring on Aug. 3 in Boracay, during a trip with her fiancée’s family. The two are co-hosts in GMA’s morning show “Unang Hirit”. JB
