‘Wag n’yo ‘kong idamay!’: Pokwang calls out recruitment sham using her name
Actress and comedienne Pokwang warned fans about an illegal recruiter allegedly using her name. The recruiter is promising potential recruits that they will be part of Pokwang’s entourage in Toronto, Canada in April next year, the actress said.
The comedienne minced no words and threatened the alleged recruiter that she will reveal the latter’s identity to the public soon, as stated in her Instagram post yesterday, Nov. 30.
“WARNING!!!
(Warning! Do not use my name and make it seem like your recruits would be part of my entourage in Toronto, Canada in April. It is clear: that is illegal recruitment! I have a video clearly showing this recruiter using my name, fooling recruits that they would be part of my entourage.)
(You will be famous soon, just you wait! Maybe you guys have relatives applying for student visas for Canada, [warn them to] do not believe these people, I will release their video soon!)” she added.
The alleged illegal recruiter’s face was covered with angry face emoji by Pokwang in her post, hiding the scammer’s identity for the meantime.
A clearly frustrated Pokwang told those who are part of the recruitment sham to not involve her in their operations, because unlike them, she is earning honest money for her family.
Mga P%#tang ina nyo!!!” she said.
(Do not use my name, for God’s sake! I have a proper job earning honest buck for my family, so do not involve me in this! You sons of b*tches!)
(You better leave me alone, I have a video of you guys sent to me by a concerned friend! And you almost deceived her, bastard. You are already old yet you are still a scammer, you animal!)
While Pokwang has not yet revealed the alleged illegal recruiter’s identity to the public as of writing, her fans assured her of support and some pledged to report the scammer to the authorities. JB
