MANILA, Philippines — Filipino filmmakers may now submit their entries to the 2020 edition of the Office of the Vice President’s (OVP) “Istorya ng Pagasa” Film Festival (INPFF).

The deadline of submission of entries will be on March 27, 2020, the OVP announced during the film festival’s launch Wednesday.

An initiative by the OVP together with Ayala Foundation, Inc., INPFF aims to provide a venue for both established and aspiring Filipino filmmakers to bring stories of hope and inspiration to the nation.

“It is our hope that through Istorya ng Pag-asa—lalo na iyong Istorya ng Pag-asa Film Festival—Filipinos will be united around the common values of hope, of perseverance, deep faith, and the goodness of humanity. Kasi iyon iyong talagang underlying theme ng bawat kuwento,” Vice President Leni Robredo said.
