Apl.de.ap headlines 2019 SEA Games opening rites
MANILA, Philippines— Filipino-American artist Apl.de.ap is set to headline the 2019 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games opening ceremony on Saturday, November 30.

The Black Eyed Peas member has already started counting down until the games’ formal opening as seen in an Instagram post over the weekend.
Apl shared a photo of himself posing in front of the SEA Games logo while holding a torch captioned: “Less than a week. Let’s show them what we’re made of. #SEAGames2019 #WeWinAsOne.”

The opening ceremony for this year’s regional biennial multi-sports event will be held at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.
Apl had earlier promised a special production with his group Black Eyed Peas during the closing ceremonies, which will be held at the New Clark City in Pampanga.
The Philippines is hosting the 30th SEA Games, which will run from November 30 to December 11.
