For his long-awaited return to music, the Canadian rapper PartyNextDoor has reunited with his frequent collaborator and OVO label boss Drake, with whom he previously worked on “Come and See Me” as well as “Recognize”.

“Pain goes away when I’m tipsy/Pain goes away when you’re with me/Even when your troubles all look risky/It’s all under control,” PartyNextDoor sings over a catchy beat.

“Loyal” arrived alongside “The News”, with both singles reportedly appearing on the singer-songwriter’s forthcoming new album.

Details about the full-length are still scarce to this date, even though the highly-anticipated follow-up to the 2016 “PartyNextDoor 3” is rumored to be titled “Club Atlantis”.

“I’m taking my time with this album. It’s straight party & unapologetic,” the Canadian singer tweeted back in 2017.

Although PartyNextDoor has been mostly absent from the music scene for the past two years, he has recently made guest appearances on Summer Walker’s “Just Might” and Jay Park’s “Fade Away”.

Meanwhile, Drake launched his own cannabis brand, More Life Growth, in partnership with Canopy Growth Corporation earlier this month.

He also hopped on a remix of Brazilian musician MC Kevin o Chris’ baile funk hit, “Ela é do Tipo”, whose original version amassed more than 80 million streams on Spotify. RGA
