Singer-actor Guji Lorenzana and his interior designer wife, Cheska Nolasco, welcomed their first child into the world last Sunday, Nov. 10.
Lorenzana broke the good news by posting a photo of him cradling his newborn, Cassidy, in his arms on Instagram on Monday, Nov. 11.
He said the sweet moment was captured right after baby Cassidy was cleaned up. Nolasco was still in recovery at the time, but he was allowed to bring Cassidy out for a “quick and first formal photo together.”
“Nothing can explain what it feels like to be your daddy,” he said, addressing his newborn. “But know this, anak (kid), how much I already love you. PS. Thank you for always calming down every time you hear my voice sing to you.”
“It means so much to papa,” Lorenzana added.
Meanwhile, Nolasco took to Instagram Stories yesterday, Nov. 12, to show a more candid side of their first steps into parenthood. She shared a moment of her and Lorenzana asleep on a hospital bed, with their hands clasped together.
“LOL So this is what parenthood is like huh?” the new mother joked. “[Two] days in and we [couldn’t] care less what time it is and sneak naps whenever we can.”
