Celebrity couple Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos indulged in a traditional Japanese dining experience called “omakase.”

Omakase, which means “I will leave it up to you,” is a Japanese tradition where a customer gives the chef the freedom to serve whatever the chef wants.

Garcia took to Instagram yesterday, Nov. 5, to give fans a glimpse of her and Ramos’ feast in Tokyo’s famous sushi restaurant Ginza Kyubey, which the couple enjoyed.

“One of the many things @khalilramos and I share in common, is our love for FOOD. We promised that we would spoil ourselves in Japan!” the actress said.

“We tried out an Omakase, a 16 sushi course tasting menu (which was AMAZING), had some sake, and had the best convo with our sushi chef and other couples who ate there as well,” she added.

Garcia also marked their experience in the sushi restaurant as “definitely one of the highlights” of the couple’s Japan trip.

Other than a photo of an assortment of sushi, the couple can be seen posing with the chef. Garcia also added a snippet of the restaurant’s sushi chef in action.

Garcia also advised fans to book a reservation “a month or two before your trip,” as it turns out that it is not so easy to get a table without one.

“Ginza Kyubey was our 5th attempt in getting a table. Luckily, they had 2 slots for us (which rarely happens). But we got rejected 4 times that night cause we had no reservation,” she said. “Lesson learned, but all worth it!” NVG
