Neri Naig dismisses rumors about husband Chito cheating on her
MANILA, Philippines — Actress-entrepreneur Neri Naig on Friday dismissed accusations that her husband, musician Chito Miranda, is cheating on her.
A photo uploaded on her Instagram account showed a screenshot of a text message saying that the sender saw Miranda the night before “making out with Bubbles [Paraiso].”
“I know they are very very close friends. And naisip pumunta to check your husband’s instagram. May post pala siya about bubble, congratulating her and napaisip tuloy ako [I checked your husband’s instagram and he has a post about bubble, congratulating her, and that made me think],” the text message read.

In jest, Naig wrote: “May kailangan ba kayong i-explain sa akin? @chitomirandajr @bubblesparaiso [Do you have anything to explain to me]?”
She said the text message amused her, pointing out that it is allowed for girls to have bestfriends who are guys.
“Kasalanan ba nila Angel at Bubbles na magaganda at sexy sila? Bawal na magkaroon ng best friend na lalaki? Pagbabawalan ko na ba? Hehe!” she said.
Naig attested that Miranda and Paraiso are only friends and she had never put any malice to their friendship.
She also admitted that she had never prohibited Miranda to hang out with Paraiso or any person for that matter.
“Why? Bakit ko kailangan siyang paghigpitan? Ang tao kung gusto nyang magloko, magloloko yan kahit ano pang bantay ang gagawin mo. Saka secured ako sa pagmamahal ng asawa ko [Why do I have to be strict? A person who wants to cheat will cheat even if they are being closely monitored. I am secured with the love my husband gives me],” Naig said.
“I love Angel and Bubbles kase mabait talaga silang tao, hindi lang kay Chito, pati sa amin na rin ni Miggy. Pati na rin si Neil, lagi nila inaalala kami ni Miggy [I love Angel and Bubbles because they are good people not only to Chito but also to me and Miggy. Neil is also mindful of Miggy and me],” she added.
The actress-entrepreneur said she will soon post a video blog or a “vlog” about cheating men, featuring Chito, where she gives tips on how to determine if one’s husband is only truly platonic with a female friend.
Naig and Miranda have been married for almost five years. They tied the knot in December 2014. /jpv
