MANILA, Philippines — After making amends during the wake of their family patriarch, Gretchen Barretto and mom Estrella appeared to have regained their sweet relationship as they were spotted bonding at a mall.
On Saturday, Gretchen’s sister Claudine posted on Instagram a photo of Gretchen and Estrella with arms behind each other’s back as they stroll in an unnamed mall.
“My Mom & my Ate stronger together. Dad for sure is so Happy,” Claudine wrote in her post.
Claudine also wrote that her sister had a great lunch “while waiting for Dad’s ashes,” as their father Miguel was cremated on Saturday.
Claudine also posted a photo of Gretchen and their mom at a restaurant, with Claudine’s brother Joaquin.
Gretchen and her mother were first reunited when the former visited the wake of her father Miguel.

However, tensions later unraveled as it was reported that Gretchen had a scuffle with sister Marjorie, along with another Barretto family member.
Later, Claudine was also reported to have her own altercation with Marjorie.
