MANILA, Philippines – Actress Claudine Barretto was hospitalized due to bruises and dizziness at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City after a reported altercation and scuffle with sister Marjorie at the wake of their father MiguelABS-CBN News reported.
Also allegedly part of the confrontation was Marjorie’s daughter, young actress Julia Barretto.
Claudine did not directly name her sister in a cryptic Instagram post on Friday.
Claudine’s post read: Are you proud of who you have become?, with the actress adding in the caption “I hope not.”
Aside from Claudine, ABS-CBN News also reported that her older sister Gretchen had an altercation with Marjorie in the presence of no less than President Duterte when she visited her father’s wake
Gretchen herself confirmed the altercation, as she was quoted in the report: “It was all so nice until Marjorie had a nervous breakdown.”
Claudine and Gretchen reconciled after years of feuding earlier this year. /gsg
