MANILA, Philippines — Rico Yan’s sister Tina joined Claudine Barretto in mourning the death of the actress’ father Miguel.
In an Instagram post Thursday, Yan is seen giving bereaved Claudine a tight embrace.
The Barretto patriarch died on Tuesday at age 82.

“My Sister @tinamarieyan Thank you for your Hugs & wiping my Tears thank u for being my Rock.i luv u So much,” Claudine wrote in her post.
Barretto was known to have a strong love team partnership with Rico Yan during the late 90s to early 2000s. Their on-screen chemistry also blossomed to a real-life romance.
The matinee idol was found dead on March 29, 2002 at a resort in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. He was 27.
