Bella Thorne is launching a cannabis brand

Bella Thorne has announced that she is launching her own cannabis and CBD brand.

The actress, who established her own beauty label “Thorne by Bella” last year, has teamed up with the U.S. vertically integrated cannabis and hemp company Glass House Group on the venture.

Thorne’s new brand, which goes by the name “Forbidden Flowers” will offer Indica, Sativa, Hybrid and CBD varieties cultivated at Glass House Farms in Santa Barbara, using “coastal sun, organic standards and environmental sensibility,” according to the company.

“I have struggled with anxiety for many years, and weed was the one source I found for me to do the most healing,” said Thorne in a statement. The star also reportedly plans to open up the topic of conversation with her 21 million Instagram followers, sharing information about the various ways she incorporates cannabis and CBD into her lifestyle, including her health and wellness regimes.

“We’re proud to join forces with Bella in rolling out this sexy, enticing, high-quality brand that embodies her captivating spirit,” added Glass House Group Chief Marketing Officer Groovy Singh. He added: “At a time when more people are exploring the power of cannabis, we look forward to introducing a whole new community to the benefits of cannabis and to Bella sharing with her fans and consumers the ways she incorporates cannabis and CBD into her daily lifestyle.”

Forbidden Flowers is marking its entry into the market with a seven-week tour starting this week. The first retail location will be revealed on Instagram on October 11, with an additional new California location announced each Thursday, through November 21. NVG
