Alessandra De Rossi ‘challenges’ Lovi Poe to a swimsuit showdown
In every friendship, there always seems to be that friend who posts picture-perfect beach photos without even trying. Actress Alessandra De Rossi apparently has had enough when she challenged her friend Lovi Poe to a mock fight, through a swimsuit showdown.
There were no punches thrown in each corner, just witty banter.
The “Kita Kita” star was spotted strolling by the seashore while sporting a black triangle top two-piece last Sunday, Oct. 6.
“Ilabas nyo yang lovi na yan! Asan sya? Taga saan ba yan? Ready ako!” she jested.
(Show me that [L]ovi [Poe]! Where is she? Where does she live? I’m ready!)

Netizens were rolling on the floor with laughter, especially as Lovi Poe commented on De Rossi’s post, saying she herself could not stop laughing at the challenge.
“Alex!!! Kanina pa ako tumatwa dito (I can’t stop laughing about this) [laughing emoji].”

Prior to De Rossi’s post, the two actresses appeared to have a mini swimsuit showdown on their respective Instagram profiles.
The culprit to De Rossi’s challenge appeared to be Lovi Poe’s throwback beach photos.
Poe showed off her back tattoo while getting her tan in her two-piece patterned swimsuit, on Instagram last Thursday, Oct. 3. She referred to it with a pun, “TAN-tanan niyo ‘ko! (Leave me alone!)”

De Rossi responded with a post of her own, “To @lovipoe : tan-tanan mo ako, ngayon lang din! (Leave me alone too, just for now.) I told you [to] wait for it!”

The two could be spotted on each other’s comment sections, teasing each other to no end.
What finally pushed De Rossi off the edge was Poe’s throwback photo last Sunday, Oct. 6. There the actress was also all smiles while appearing flawless in her black string bikini even with wet beach hair.

De Rossi immediately responded with a comment: “Pagod ako lovi! Wag ngayon! (I’m tired, [L]ovi! Not today!)

De Rossi and Poe’s friendship has been tried and tested through time. They are known to cheer each on with their latest projects. De Rossi, Poe and Evangelista’s friendship also goes way back in 2012, where they starred in GMA Network’s drama series “Legacy”. JB
