Korean actor Lee Dong Wook will visit Manila in October for the celebration of 70 years of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and South Korea.

The “Goblin” star has a video message for fans, as seen in the Facebook page of the Korea Tourism Organization Manila Office yesterday, Sept. 23.

He invited fans to join the #LoveKOrea Culture & Travel Fiesta, which will be held on Oct. 5-6 at the SM Megamall Fashion Hall. “I am excited and happy to meet and greet all my Filipino fans,” he said.

Lee will be at the event for a fan meet on Oct. 5 at 3 p.m. Only 100 seats are up for grabs for the event’s opening ceremony and the fan meet. Ticket registration is through the Korea Tourism Organization Manila Office website until Thursday, Sept. 26. One must complete a short quiz to register and join a raffle before getting a chance to win a seat.

Lee’s last visit to Manila was in 2006 when he promoted the series “My Girl.”

Besides the fantasy drama “Goblin,” where he starred with Korean star Gong Yoo, his work includes the romance drama series “Touch Your Heart.” He also hosts the boy group reality contest “Produce 101.”  /ra
