Honesty is the best policy
Be forewarned: It isn’t wise to get on Queenly Chief’s (QC) bad side. True, she always looks like she’s in a friendly and benevolent mood. But in a recent public appearance, her cheerful composure took a drastic change when she hobnobbed with one of the Glory-seeking Participants (GP) for an event QC’s team organized.
QC’s mood turned sour as quickly as her camera-ready smile when she asked GP if she was enjoying the event.
GP’s reply was far from perfunctory, however. To QC’s surprise, GP answered, “To be honest, ma’am, I’m not enjoying it…” It was the kind of honesty that left QC speechless.
Shocked at what she heard, QC quickly moved on to the next participant and never talked to GP again.
As they say, honesty is the best policy—but, apparently, not for QC.
