LOOK: Migo Adecer, non-showbiz GF spend quality time in Sydney
Kapuso actor Migo Adecer and his non-showbiz girlfriend Katrina Mercado jetted off to Sydney, Australia for a mini-vacation together.
Adecer, the “Starstruck” Season Six Ultimate Male Survivor, and Mercado arrived in the city last Sunday, Sept. 1, as per the actor’s Instagram post on the same day.
“Made it to Sydney, mini vacay down-under!” he said.

The couple’s first tourist destination to visit was the iconic Sydney Opera House, where they posed in front of the famous building.
“Touring Douglas’ hometown,” Mercado stated.
Adecer, whose first name is Douglas, is of Filipino and Australian descent. He was born in Bacolod City, Philippines but was raised in Sydney.

The next place they visited was the Featherdale Wildlife Park in Doonside City, west of Sydney, where they shared a quirky moment with their “favourite little marsupial.” Marsupials are mammals that carry the young in their pouches, such as kangaroos and wallabies, which are both native to Australia.

They also did not miss the chance to take a photo with another Australian native — the koala.
“Koala-tea time,” Mercado joked.

Aside from touring around the city, the two spent some quiet time together at Dudley Page Reserve, a local park offering a “breathtaking” view of Sydney.

The couple also made sure to spend a night with their friends, as seen in Adecer’s Instagram Stories today, Sept. 5.

Adecer made headlines in March after getting arrested for hitting two Metropolitan Manila Development Authority enforcers while driving his car.
He previously appeared in the 2016 remake of the fantasy series “Encantadia” as Anthony Montecarlo. Adecer currently stars in the GMA drama series “Sahaya” alongside Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix. JB
