Chesca Garcia proves to be a hands-on mother as she chooses to continue her children’s studies in their new home.
She shared parts of the homeschool classroom in an Instagram post yesterday, Sept. 1.
“One of my favorite spaces in our house is our homeschool classroom,” she said.
Garcia has earlier stated her intention to homeschool Kendra and Scarlett. Prior to the mother’s plan to homeschool them, the two girls previously studied at CCF Life Academy in Pasig City.
The classroom has a computer set up beside a whiteboard in one part of the area, as seen in the series of photos Garcia shared. Another portion of the room features a long table attached to the wall together with three chairs. It also has a number of shelves filled with books and other learning materials.
“There is much to do here like read books, play educational games, do arts and crafts,” Garcia expressed. “That is why this is not just my favorite place it is also Dougs and the kids.”
Garcia admitted that learning is not always a smooth process for her kids.
“There are times when their lessons come easy,” she said. “And there are times it can be difficult.”
To support her children’s learning, Garcia says she does her best to encourage them. She achieves this by reminding them to “never settle on what they believe in at the moment just because they are frustrated.”
She also cites a Bible verse regarding The Fruits of the Spirit to help inspire her children. An artwork featuring the said Biblical reference is seen above the classroom’s computer.
Garcia and her children will officially begin with homeschooling today, Sept. 2.
Garcia sees the academic year ahead of them as “a new year to learn together, discover new things and [bear] with one another.”
Aside from the classroom, the Kramer household also features a playground for the children and an indoor theater for the whole family to enjoy. JB
