Andi Eigenmann, who is now a mom-of-two, cannot believe her daughters Ellie and Lilo are growing up too fast.
“I went from wondering when I would ever get proper-enough sleep again to worrying that my children are growing up way too fast real quick!” Eigenmann said via Instagram today, Aug. 26.
Her baby daughter Lilo, born Keliana Alohi Eigenmann Alipayo, had just turned 4 weeks old yesterday, Aug. 25. Seven-year-old Ellie, on the other hand, has been making friends of her own in Siargao.
“I am so so glad that Ellie has been adjusting well on the island and is making friends. But having friends = having plans of her own,” she said. “It scares me a little bit but thats a part of growing up.”
As a parent, Eigenmann understands she has no right to demand Ellie to stay with her for her own comfort and accepts she must let Ellie grow into her own person.
“Besides, it is more than enough consolation to witness her grow into such a wonderful human, and I am just in awe,” she said.
Lilo, on the other hand, may still be far from making friends of her own, but Eigenmann proudly shared that she slept on her own for six hours straight the previous night.
“Oh how fast time flies,” she said. “But I have no complaints there! Sana (hopefully) always.” JB
