Kris Aquino experienced an earthquake while on vacation with her two sons, Josh and Bimby, in Japan recently.
The actress said the “whole place was shaking” during the quake, as per her vlog post on YouTube yesterday, Aug. 5.
Aquino said the earthquake’s epicenter had a magnitude of 6.2 or 6.8, while the area she was staying at had 5-magnitude.
She added she called some loved ones in the Philippines because she was already crying in fear during the quake. Despite her reaction, she was surprised by how the people around her seemed unfazed despite the rumbling. Aquino also noted how there were no directions to evacuate the area.
“The buildings daw here kasi in Tokyo are really, I guess, it can withstand up to a 10 or a 12 [magnitude],” Aquino said.
She then assured her fans and followers that she and her sons were safe despite the quake.
Aquino will be starring alongside Derek Ramsay in an upcoming horror movie entitled “Kampon.” The film will be screened at the Metro Manila Film Festival this year. /ra
