Carol Banawa proved that singing indeed runs in their family, by having an impromptu duet of the Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello hit song “Señorita”, with her daughter Chelsea Crisostomo.
Banawa and her daughter showed off their angelic voices, as per her Instagram post yesterday, Aug. 4.
“When us girls hang out, we play [emoji] #señorita,” Banawa said.
Fellow singer Sheryn Regis praised their number.
One commenter, @mmichellerry, hoped that Banawa and her daughter would create a YouTube channel.
One @noreen9576 confessed that she missed hearing Banawa sing, and expressed her desire to see Banawa perform professionally again, with her daughter this time.
Another netizen, @anamarielat, was amazed at how Banawa’s daughter appeared to have inherited her voice.

Banawa currently works as a licensed nurse in United States where she resides with her family. Her past big hits include “Tanging Yaman” and “Bakit ‘Di Totohanin”. JB
