Alex Gonzaga dedicated an important message for singles who may be losing hope about finding “the one.”
Gonzaga believes that someone’s significant other will eventually come no matter how hopeless it may seem, as per her Instagram post yesterday, Aug. 3. Gonzaga’s post showed moments when she was the third wheel to her sister Toni and husband, director Paul Soriano, and their parents.
“Para sa lahat ito ng Single at nagsasawa na mag-antay ng jowa: Buong 20’s ko lagi AKO LANG ang single sa family and barkada ko,” Gonzaga said. “Nung kinasal ang ate may mga nagtatanong na ‘ikaw, Kailan ka naman ikakasal?’ Gusto ko sagutin TEKA lang naman wala pa nga tumagal na jowa!!”
(This is dedicated to those who are single and are getting tired of waiting for a significant other. During my 20s, I was always the only one who was single in my family and friends. When my older sister got married, people asked, “When will you get married?” I wanted to answer, “Wait a minute, my previous relationships did not even last long.)
“At sa tagal kong hinintay kung kailan matatapos ang pagiging third wheel ko dahil sawa na rin ako mainggit at sagutin ang tanong na ‘Wala ka parin boyfriend!?’ Finally dumating din,” she added.
(And for the longest time that I waited for when my third wheel days will end, since I am also already tired of feeling envious and answering the question, “You still do not have a boyfriend?” — he finally came.)
“Kaya sa lahat ng jowang jowa na, wait lang kayo dahil dadating din talaga sya,” Gonzaga assured.
