Carlo Aquino on Angelica Panganiban’s refusal to reunite: Her emotions are valid

MANILA, Philippines — Actor Carlo Aquino has refused to add fuel to the fire after former girlfriend Angelica Panganiban rejected the idea of reuniting with him. 

“Para sa akin lang kasi kung may apoy, ‘di ba hindi mo naman bubuhusan ng gasul para lumaki pa. Wag na natin pahabain,” Aquino said Tuesday when sought for comment on Panganiban’s statement, as seen in a Youtube video by Rider.ph.

“Yung emotions niya, valid ‘yon. Kung ‘yun ‘yung nararamdaman niya, ibigay na natin sa kanya yon. Ayoko nang pahabain; ang tagal na din. I think six, seven months?” Aquino added. 

Panganiban rejected a fan’s request for her to reunite with Aquino in a Twitter post over the weekend.

“Spare me,” Panganiban said. “Gusto kong maging mabuting tao. Pero ayokong maging bobo :)”

Aquino disclosed that he already apologized to Panganiban: “Nag-sorry na naman ako. Sincerely, nag-sorry ako sa kanya and hindi ko kailangang mag-sorry in public dahil napa-plastikan ako kapag ganoon.”

“Personal, mas maganda ‘yon. Ilang beses naman kaming nag-usap. I think okay na ‘yun for me,” he added.

Panganiban admitted last March that she and Aquino are no longer friends. /je
