Rayver’s advice to newcomers
Actor-performer Rayver Cruz has no problem working with anyone in the entertainment industry. Having starred in films and television shows associated with both ABS-CBN (where he was a talent for over a decade) and GMA 7 (where he started as a child actor and is currently under contract), Rayver has maintained amicable bonds with a number of actors and creatives.
But he reiterated, it doesn’t matter if he’s worked with them or not; he’s comfortable either way. “Whoever they may be, I’ll be happy and I’m going to give it my best,” he told the Inquirer in Filipino.
He hopes to collaborate with whoever’s available on dream projects that he wishes would materialize someday.
“I want to do action and fantasy,” said the “Studio 7” mainstay. “GMA is really good when it comes to those.”
Rayver, who recently turned 30, also welcomes newcomers to the biz. His advice to those who are interested in pursuing a career in entertainment: “Never give up. Huwag mong bibitawan ang pangarap mo sa buhay (Don’t let go of your dreams).” —OLIVER PULUMBARIT
