By any means: Maine Mendoza, Arjo Atayde brave traffic, rain for LANY concert
MANILA, Philippines – Arjo Atayde and Maine Mendoza braved the traffic and rains just to catch American indie pop band LANY’s concert at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Atayde shared Wednesday night a photo of him and Mendoza wearing helmets, raincoats while riding motorcycles.
“More and more memories with you babs. one for the books! #LANYLiveInMNLDay2,” Atayde wrote as caption.

Earlier that day, Mendoza expressed dismay that she would not be able to watch the concert because of a sudden taping.

But this did not stop the actress-host from attending the concert.
Mendoza posted photos of herself aboard a motorcycle, seemingly in the middle of a heavy traffic captioned: “Magtataping pero hindi susuko! Dibale nang dugyot basta #LabanLANY!!!”

Mendoza continued to update her followers, saying she successfully made it to the concert.
“Nairaos! Pakiramdam ko may hinabol akong jowa na paalis ng bansa. Iba kayo, @thisisLANY!” Mendoza said.
“Hindi ko to nagawa kay Chris Martin.. baka magtampo,” she added, referring to the frontman of British band Coldplay. “Anyway, you guys were amazing! Thanks for giving us a great show! Til the next! #LANYLiveInMNLDay2.”

LANY performed on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena.
The band is set to perform once again on Thursday night for their Filipino fans. /gsg
