When Alden met Daniel

Alden Richards

Alden Richards’ movie with Kathryn Bernardo, “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” is proof that there’s more to Alden’s career than the AlDub phenomenon. Talk about moving on and moving up.

Here’s my chat with Alden:

What was it like working with Kath? Since it’s a new team-up, I had many apprehensions and worries. But all of them were erased from day one of our shooting. It was such a breeze to work with Kath.

Daniel Padilla

Tell us a bit about your chat with Daniel (Padilla) when he dropped by the set. He congratulated me for the movie and wished us luck. I was surprised to see him. I appreciate his gesture of taking time to visit us on the set. He was humble enough to talk to me.

How did you and Kath make each other feel at ease? Nothing was forced. We just let the moment take care of itself and let everything be organic.

What’s your most memorable moment with Kath on-cam and off? Every moment I spent with Kath will stand out in my memory. No moment was insignificant. We became family in an instant, and that’s what we will miss [when all of this is over].

Dimples on playing Cherry Pie

It’s so nice of the new “meme queen,” Dimples Romana, to post a portion of my column about Cherry Pie Picache in her Instagram account.

She screen-grabbed the answer of Pie to my question, “If your life story would be made into a movie, what will the title be, and who would portray you?” Pie chose Dimples to play her.

Thanks for making my day, Dimples. Here goes her post: Yesterday, I was feeling overwhelmed by all the blessings that came my way the past couple of days. I feel I am undeserving of all of these.
But the Lord said, “My child, let me show you how much I love you.” I got a direct message from an actress I idolize, Cherry Pie.

After I watched “Radical Love,” my admiration and respect for her grew even deeper. The most forgiving, brave and noble spirit I know.
Thank you, Ms Pie. When I read the column of Ms @dollywood922 on @inquirerdotnet that you told me about, I was moved to tears. You @yescppicache are truly God’s blessing to me. Exactly what I needed to keep me going.
