Fed up Xian Lim blasts critics, ditches social media, for now

MANILA, Philippines – Xian Lim has had enough of social media.

The actor-director announced Thursday via an Instagram post he is taking a break from social media.

“I refuse to be a victim of your insensitivity towards people. DONE. Signing off social media for a while. What a waste of time watering dead plants,” he said.

While he can take insults, Lim blasted those who doubt his professionalism and the passion he puts in his craft.

“You can insult me, mock me all you want, take everything away from me and strip me with nothing but don’t you dare question my professionality, passion and the amount of work I am willing to put in my craft in ALL the projects I make,” he said.

Lim added that he may not be the best, but he is willing to give his all to deliver good results.

“I may not be the best but I will work my ass off to give you results. As an artist I am willing to do whatever it takes to deliver even if it kills me,” he said.

“I will move mountains, give my own sweat and blood, take that leap of faith for my staff and all the people around me who shares the same vision as I do,” he added.

Lim’s movie “Tabon” is among the finalists in the 2019 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival.

He is also set to star in an upcoming teleserye “Love Thy Woman” with Kim Chiu and Erich Gonzales. /gsg
