Lee Sung-kyung ‘honored’ to receive compliment from Lea Salonga
MANILA, Philippines — Apparently, Korean actress-model Lee Sung-kyung is a fan of Tony award-winning actress Lea Salonga.
A month after Salonga shared Lee’s cover of “A Whole New World” on her Instagram page, the Korean actress commented on the post to thank the Broadway star.
“I am so thankful and honored Lea! I’ve been practicing [by] listening to you! You are inspirational and I love you so much!” Lee wrote Monday.
Salonga, on the other hand, bared she and her mom are fans of Lee from drama series “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo.”
“Aww thank you! My mom and I are fans of yours from Weightlifting Fairy. Thank you for those many hours of entertainment! We love the show and you in it!” Salonga said.

Apart from “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo,” Lee is also known for starring in drama series like “It’s Okay, That’s Love,” “Cheese in the Trap” and “The Doctors.”
Meanwhile, Lee is set to meet her Filipino fans for the first time in an upcoming fan meeting this Saturday, July 27, at the SM Skydome. /muf
