Winwyn Marquez travels solo to watch BTS in Japan, shares highlights for PH fans

Winwyn Marquez expressed her adoration for K-Pop group BTS as she attended the Japan leg of their “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” concert tour at Ecopa Arena held on July 13 and 14.

BTS is a popular seven-member male group with a musical style which includes a wide range of genres. Their lyrics often focus on social and personal commentary.

Marquez made her fangirl dreams come true during her solo trip to Japan, as per her Instagram post on Monday, July 15. She posted a photo showing her ARMY bomb, BTS’ official lightstick, and a video enjoying the concert with fellow fans.

Marquez had nothing but praise for BTS, as she documented her concert experience on Twitter on Sunday, July 14. According to Marquez, security was tight, noting that there were two concertgoers who were kicked out of the venue for using their phones.

Marquez had “no words” for the concert, recalling a moment where she clearly saw the faces of BTS in person.

The actress also spoke about her favorite moments of individual BTS members at the concert.

Marquez commended V’s live vocal for “Singularity” and his ability to interact with the audience, citing that he “literally” flirted and teased concertgoers.

In another moment, Marquez recalled how Jungkook and RM were energetic during the concert’s extended stage.

Marquez’s fangirling did not stop there. She praised Ji-min’s dancing and Jin’s “handsome” looks.

She even screamed “her lungs out” for J-Hope who was “such a performer.”

The actress stated that she did not have photos and videos, as she answered queries from those wondering about her favorite parts of the concert.

Marquez advised her fans and followers to use the hashtag “#BTSfortheWYN” for her to spot questions easily online. She added that she will make a video to answer the questions of ARMYs, the fandom name of BTS.

Fans expressed their appreciation for Marquez’s openness to answer as many questions as possible. NVG
