Kathryn Bernardo wants to work with Marian Rivera

MANILA, Philippines — After being partnered with Kapuso actor Alden Richards, Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo wants to work with Marian Rivera next.

“Miss Marian Rivera,” Bernardo said when asked which Kapuso artist she would want to work with during her guesting aired Friday at GMA’s morning show “Unang Hirit.”

“Siya (Rivera) lang ‘yung artista na na-starstruck ako. Hindi kami nagkasama pero nagkikita kami sometimes sa events,” Bernardo said.

“Pumunta siya nung debut ko, sobrang saya ko no’n. For me, siya ‘yung pinakamaganda sa buong mundo, Marian Rivera,” she added.

Bernardo played the younger role of Rivera in Filipino adaption of Korean drama series “Endless Love” in 2010.

Bernardo’s guesting with Richards came a few days after the latter set foot at ABS-CBN to promote their upcoming movie “Hello, Love, Goodbye.”

The project is the first team-up of Bernardo and Richards, who belong to rival networks and popular love teams.

Bernardo is half of “KathNiel” with Daniel Padilla, while Richards is half of “AlDub” with Maine Mendoza.

“Hello, Love, Goodbye,” helmed by Cathy Garcia-Molina will premiere in cinemas on July 31, 2019. /muf
