Netflix Original Series ‘Stranger Things’ is back for its highly anticipated third season and PLDT–Smart is celebrating by turning Manila upside down with the “Stranger Things” Fun Fair. Happening from July 4 to 7 at the SM Mall of Asia Atrium, the “Stranger Things” Fun Fair will transport fans of the show to Hawkins, Indiana during the summer of 1985 with fun challenge after fun challenge and lots of action at different carnival booths. Your final mission? To enter the Upside Down and defeat the Demogorgon by channeling Eleven and using your telekinetic powers. And here’s the best part: you get to bring the fun home. You collect points at each stop and you can exchange those points for prizes—memorabilia straight from the ‘80s. This four-day immersive experience is open and free for everyone.
PLDT, Smart, and Netflix also prepared another special treat for Filipino fans of “Stranger Things.” They mounted the first-ever vertical pyromusical billboard featuring the show on EDSA Libertad Southbound on July 4.

Booth #2: Glamorama
Celebrate Max and Eleven’s growing friendship with your very own fun ‘80s makeover. Watch a “Stranger Things” clip and recreate the look of the character you’ve just seen. Complete your transformation in the least amount of time for higher points.
Booth #3: Scoops Ahoy
Drop by Scoops Ahoy, the ice cream shop where Steve now works. Want free ice cream? Steve is ready to hand it out—as long as you guess the character your chosen flavor was based on.
Booth #4: Slingshot Revenge
Season 3 will introduce you to new characters—some good, some bad. But who’s who? You will be given an old school slingshot with pellets and 2 minutes to shoot down as many villains as possible. You get 3 points for every villain you hit and no points for neutral characters. You need to be careful not to hit our good guys—3 points will be deducted from your score for every hero you hit.
Booth #5: The Upside Down
Ready to face the final boss? At this AR booth, enter the Upside Down and unleash your inner Eleven by using your telekinetic powers to attack the Demogorgon 2.0. Use your hands to push the creatures away. Each hit gets you 1 point.
