Barbra Streisand, Kris Kristofferson sing duet in London

It was 1976 all over again in London as Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson performed a song from their movie “A Star Is Born”.

Headlining British Summer Time in Hyde Park Sunday, July 7, Streisand sang “Evergreen” from the movie before calling to the stage “one of my favorite leading men.” She told Kristofferson “here’s a song that we sang together in the movie, right?”

The pair sang “Lost Inside of You”.

Streisand played Esther Hoffman Howard in the 1976 movie, and Kristofferson played John Norman Howard.

FEATURED STORIES

The film was last remade in 2018, starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. Their performance of “Shallow” electrified the 2019 Academy Awards, and Gaga took home the Oscar for best original song.

Streisand also sang “The Way We Were” with Lionel Richie. RGA
