Demi Lovato’s bad blood with Taylor Swift continues as she defends Scooter Braun

Demi Lovato has taken sides in Taylor Swift’s accusations that Scooter Braun bullied her and bought her musical catalog without giving her the chance to purchase it herself.

The catalog includes albums such as “Fearless”, “Red”  and “1989”.

Like Justin Bieber, Lovato chose to defend her manager with whom she signed in May. She said in Instagram Stories on Sunday, June 30 that the music executive is a “good man”.

“Personally, I’m grateful he came into my life when he did. Please stop ‘dragging’ people or bullying them. There’s enough hate in the world as it is,” she wrote.

She also spoke of loyalty, stating, “I value loyalty more than most people in this world and if my name is gonna be brought into conversations I’m gonna stand up for myself and the ones on my team.”

Lovato previously blasted Swift about her brand of feminism. In 2016, she called out Swift in a Glamour interview for not speaking up enough about issues women face.

In a deleted tweet in the same year, Lovato took a dig at Swift donating $250,000 to Kesha’s case against her manager Dr. Luke.

“Not everyone has 250k to just give to people…” she stated. “At least I speak up about shit that’s uncomfortable to talk about rather than trying to be politically correct 24/7.”

During the same year, Lovato liked tweets supporting Kim Kardashian after the reality star exposed a phone call with Kanye West over his use of Swift’s name in the song “Famous”, The Shade Room reported.

Celebrities such as singer Halsey, model and actress Cara Delevingne and rapper Iggy Azalea have voiced support for Swift. JB
