LOOK: ‘The Voice PH’ champ Jason Dy to graduate with music degree

Jason Dy proudly shared his graduation picture after finishing a music degree from Philippine Women’s University (PWU) in Manila.

On Tuesday, June 18, Dy posted his picture on Instagram where he wore a red toga over a dark polo and blue tie. “Finally,” he captioned the photo.

The singer, who won the “The Voice of the Philippines” season 2, took up Bachelor of Music major in Popular Music.

Last February, he performed 16 songs from four different genres during his graduation recital, a requirement before earning his degree.

Dy is known for his soulful voice and songs in the genres of pop and RnB such as “Walang Iwanan,” “Break My Heart (Some More)” and “Tayo na lang Kasi” with Kyla.

The singer hails from Butuan City and celebrated his 29th birthday on Wednesday, June 19. PWU’s graduation ceremony is set for July 27.  /ra
