It’s good to know that child protection in broadcast media is the current concern of the Ad Standards Council (ASC) and  Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP), said teen actor BJ “Tolits” Forbes, who delivered a special address to media practitioners in the forum “Children and Media: Responsible Communication.” The event was held in partnership with the Philippine Association of National Advertisers and the Juvenile Justice Welfare Council. Topics discussed were how kids are portrayed in media and when child participation in TV shows borders on exploitation.
