Did You Know? Nes Jardin resigns

Nes Jardin, Cinemalaya festival director, has resigned effective on March 2, due to the controversies surrounding the indie fest. He told Inquirer Entertainment that he was “sad and disheartened.” Cultural Center of the Philippines vice president Chris Millado is taking over his post, according to Jardin, who added that his resignation was irrevocable. He pointed out, however, that he has yet to hear from Cinemalaya’s main patron, businessman Tonyboy Cojuangco.
