While Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom already got engaged last Valentine’s Day, the show biz couple are in no rush to tie the knot.

“Well yeah, one step at a time,” the pop star told “KISS Breakfast with Tom and Daisy” when asked if they had already started their wedding plans. “Definitely trying to, like, lay the good emotional foundation for the lifetime of commitment, which is, like, a big deal, you know?”

Meanwhile, in an interview with “Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp,” Katy related how Orlando proposed to her:

“I just remember meeting him at dinner at this place, this Italian restaurant, because when I get a pass, I just want to stuff my face with pasta. I get there, and I mean, he was clean-shaven. He wasn’t wearing tennis shoes. I was like, ‘Ah, sh*t, something is going down! We were ordering everything and I was like, ‘Who is this person?’”

Before she knew it, Katy was aboard a helicopter with Orlando.

“I got on a helicopter and he asked me to marry him. And then we landed on this building and then went downstairs and my family and friends were there and the most flowers you have ever seen,” the “Never Really Over” singer continued. “It’s like when Kanye (West) does that for Kim (Kardashian), you’re like, ‘Oh my God!’ And I was like, ‘Oh my God!’” —ALLAN POLICARPIO
